PSSI HQ Raided by Anti-Soccer Mafia Task Force

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police announced that its anti-soccer mafia task force raided two offices belonging to the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) in two separate locations.

“PSSI’s new office in FX Sudirman and the old PSSI headquarters in Kemang,” said Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo, Head of Police Public Relations officer, today, Jan. 30.

Dedi explained that police search for pieces of evidence at PSSI’s Kemang headquarters to prove the existence of match-fixing practices that was originally reported by Persibara Banjarnegara former manager Lasmi Indaryani.

The search that was started since 11 a.m. was led by Metro Jaya Police General Criminal Investigation Deputy, Dedi said.

Police have named 11 suspects in the case of an alleged match-fixing practiced within the PSSI. Ten of them were involved in the match between Persibara against Persikabpas Pasuruan. So far, police's anti-soccer mafia task force have also questioned three PSSI high-ranking members.
